We are constantly monitoring the weather and have access to the most accurate forecasts available. We monitor road surface temperature as well as air temperature and have a steadfast protocol once the temperature has dropped below freezing and our customers require action to be taken on their sites.

Following a weather warning which predicts a fall in road surface temperature (RST) at your property, we will automatically attend your site that same evening or in the early hours of the morning.
When we arrive at your site we will log onto our app, take before and after photos and have our visit tracked from start to finish.
During the visit we will spread clean white rock salt on all surfaces required, significantly reducing the risks of ice and snow. This may include access roads, entrances, exits, parking areas, doorways, stairwells, playgrounds and footpaths.
All large areas will be gritted using our own industry-standard gritting vehicles and footpaths completed with buckets and push along salt-spreaders.
Following the visit, you will automatically receive a gritting confirmation email informing you of that your site has been treated.
Snow Clearance
When the worst of the winter weather hits, you can rely on SafeGrit’s outstanding snow clearance service to keep your site open and your business functioning to its maximum potential.
We have our own mechanical snow ploughs used specifically to clear roads and our own smaller equipment for expertly clearing footpaths and smaller areas.

Pricing
SafeGrit offers two unique pricing options for our automatic gritting services:
Annual – For a one-off cost, we are able to ensure your site(s) are gritted from 1st November through to the 11th April, when road temperatures drop below freezing.
Pay As You Go – You will be charged a flat rate fee per visit and receive a monthly invoice.
